About our Balsam Fir Spagyric Elixir: An evergreen tree native to North America. Balsam Fir has been used as a traditional medicine, an adhesive, as bedding, in aromatherapy and more. Ruled by Jupiter it has a benevolent and expansive energy.
Spagyric Elixirs are predominantly attuned to the Alchemical Sulphur principle (the Soul Body), with a focus on the volatile oil paired in balance with the mineral salts and natural spirits. They are crafted via multiple distillation processes and a final cohobation with the mineral salts and natural spirits.
Our preparations are crafted from high quality organic or ethically/sustainbly wild harvested plants and mushrooms. We walk alongside the movement of the Stars and Planets, working in lockstep with Nature’s calendar. Combining tradition with the advances of modern science, our creations are artfully born within a contemporary alchemical paradigm.
Not only are we meticulously detailed in following the best of traditional and modern methodology, but also in quality control. All ingredients are lab tested for heavy metals, microbials and pesticides. Local ingredients are hand harvested and processed by ourselves and our partners. In our lab work we use only stainless steel and glassware. All equipment and tools are scrutinously cleaned and sterilized with food grade alcohol, vinegar, heat and ultrasonic cleaning.

We guarantee that our products will arrive undamaged, safety-sealed and that you will receive the correct items as advertised. If items arrive damaged, opened or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order with supporting photos. Issues of this nature entitle you to a refund or exchange at no additional cost.
Opened items can not be returned. Un-opened items may be returned for a store credit or exchanged within 30 days of receiving your order. Cost of shipping is the responsibility of they buyer, unless the issue is due to the fault of Secret Fire Apothecary.
