About our Ovum Vitali Oil of Egg Yolk: Also known as Oil of Egg, or Ovum oil, is primarily prepared from the yolks of chicken eggs. It has been used cosmetically and in many traditional systems of medicine such as Unani, traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. Egg yolk oils of various preparation methods have been used worldwide for thousands of years as a topical and even internal medicament. Once a patented product of the cosmetic industry, egg yolk oil is prized for it’s healing and moisturizing effects on the skin and today is also being explored for it’s attributes of internal usage. It is commonly used for dry skin, rashes, scars, inflammatory conditions, cuts/scapes etc.

If items arrive damaged, opened or if you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order with supporting photos. Issues of this nature entitle you to a refund or exchange at no additional cost.
